Evelyn Lozada

Lozada has two children. Her daughter, Shaniece Hairston, was born in 1993, when Lozada was 17, and her son, Carl Leo Crawford, was born on March 22, 2014, during her relationship with former professional baseball player Carl Crawford.

Lozada was in a relationship with NBA player Antoine Walker from 1998 to 2008. She began dating former NFL player Chad Johnson in 2010, and they married in Saint Martin on July 4, 2012. Johnson was arrested after a domestic violence incident the following month, and their divorce was finalized on September 19, 2012.

Lozada and Crawford began dating in 2013 and became engaged that December. They called off the engagement in August 2017. After appearing with LaVon Lewis on Queens Court, Lozada became engaged to him, but the engagement ended in October 2023.

Lozada became one of the six main cast members of VH1's Basketball Wives in 2010. She appeared in the franchise for five seasons before joining Basketball Wives LA, where she spent four seasons. She later returned to Basketball Wives for its eleventh season.

Her planned series Ev and Ocho, which was intended to follow her life with Chad Johnson, never aired after their divorce. Lozada later starred in Livin' Lozada, a reality series centered on her life with Shaniece, which ran for two seasons from 2015 to 2016.

She also appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life in 2012 and made guest appearances on programs including The Real, Hollywood Today Live, VH1 Live!, Hollywood Medium, Today, and Access Hollywood Live. Her screen credits include an appearance in the 2018 music video for Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne's "Good Form."

Lozada co-wrote the 2012 novel The Wives Association: Inner Circle with her brand strategist, Courtney Parker. The novel follows a young woman who marries a football star and forms a group of other sports wives. In 2019, Lozada published The Perfect Date, co-written with Holly Lorincz.

In December 2012, Lozada participated in PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign. In September 2017, she launched the Turn Hurt Into Joy online campaign to raise money for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
