Dorothy Wang is an American reality television personality and actress known for starring in Rich Kids of Beverly Hills and appearing in Netflix's Bling Empire: New York. She is also the daughter of businessman Roger Wang and has worked as a licensed real estate agent and entrepreneur.

Personal life and family

Dorothy Wang is the daughter of Roger Wang and Vivine Wang. Roger is a Chinese-American businessman who founded companies including Golden Eagle Retail Group and Nanjing Eagle International Group. Dorothy has an older sister, Janice Wang, and has described her family as originally from Taiwan.

Wang became engaged to attorney Brandon Yankowitz in October 2024 and married him in October 2025.

From Rich Kids of Beverly Hills to Bling Empire

Wang first drew widespread attention in 2014 as a cast member of E!'s Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, which ran for four seasons between 2014 and 2016. Her television appearances also include Famously Single, The Steve Harvey Show, Hollywood Today Live, Big Morning Buzz Live, and Fetch Me A Date.

She later appeared in the original Bling Empire before becoming one of the main cast members of Bling Empire: New York, which premiered in January 2023. She also hosted the Facebook dating series Fetch Me A Date in 2019.

Real estate and entrepreneurial ventures

Wang is a licensed real estate agent and worked for the brokerage firm The Agency. She studied Communication Studies at the University of Southern California, graduated on the Dean's list, and said on Bling Empire that she scored 85 on her real estate broker examination.

Her business ventures have included the jewellery brand Fabuluxue and the champagne brand Rich and Bubbly. She also created hashtag necklaces featuring charms such as “#rich,” “#fabuluxe,” and “#nofilter.” In 2017, she began working with Lilly Lashes on a Day-to-Night collection that was released in 2018.

Travel, social media, and charitable work

Wang built a large Instagram following after her reality television appearances and uses the hashtag #DorothyTheExplorer for travel-related posts. Her website features travel experiences and tips for destinations including Tokyo, Capri, and Amsterdam.

At age 12, Wang became the youngest Goodwill Ambassador for the Nanjing Charity League. In 2013, she organised a blood donation drive in Beverly Hills, and she has donated proceeds from closet sales to UNICEF. She has also attended an Asian American and Pacific Islanders protest supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and published a list of Black-owned restaurants.

Wang is friends with Bling Empire cast member Christine Chiu, who has featured her on Instagram and praised her direct communication style. Their friendship connects Wang to the wider cast of the Bling Empire franchise.
