Ava Nucci

Nucci graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and played club soccer for Virginia Union. She earned United Soccer Coaches High School All-American honors twice and was named First Team ECNL All-Mid-Atlantic in the U17 division in 2022.

She played in the 2022 ECNL National Selection Game for the West squad. In 2024, she was selected to the First Team ECNL All-Mid-Atlantic Conference and earned All-Conference recognition in the Atlantic region of the Women's Premier Soccer League.

Nucci was identified as an attacking prospect for the ECNL Tennessee National Selection Game. Her projected position was winger, with the right wing highlighted as the role in which she looked most dangerous.

She is left-footed but comfortable using both feet. Her decisive movement and technical ability were noted as qualities that could make her difficult for defenders to contain.

Nucci joined Mississippi State's 2026 soccer roster as a freshman wearing jersey number 14. She is listed as a midfielder/forward and stands 5 feet 4 inches tall.

Before joining the roster, she signed as an Academy Player with DC Power FC in the USL W while maintaining NCAA eligibility. She spent 2025 enrolled in online classes at Liberty but did not play soccer, and her Mississippi State roster entry records that she had not seen game action.

One of her most popular videos shows her playing soccer indoors and accumulated more than 22 million views. Her mother and younger brother have also appeared on her social media accounts, and she is friends with Jake Warden.
